Mark Hembarsky is a seasoned operations executive, contributing to the pharma and biotech industry for the past 30 years, including roles with GlaxoSmithKline, Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Aptuit, Marken, and Avara Pharmaceutical Services.

Over his career, Mr. Hembarsky has led global operations, central functions, and projects, and helped organizations build, grow, improve, rationalize, and restructure to achieve their goals, spanning the supply chain, including R&D, manufacturing, and logistics, and across a wide range of technical operations. He has also developed and implemented global strategic initiatives, including deploying Operational Excellence / Lean Six Sigma in five companies. Mr. Hembarsky’s specialties encompass Business and Operational Growth, Leading Change, P&L Responsibility, Operational Excellence/Lean Six Sigma, Restructuring, Strategic Initiatives, Project Management. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from Jack Welch Management Institute.
